La Ragazza Di Trieste (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Beat Records è lieta di presentare questa colonna sonora su CD per la prima volta assoluta dal film drammatico “LA RAGAZZA DI TRIESTE” (aka “The girl from Trieste” – “La fille de Trieste”) diretto nel 1982 da Pasquale Festa Campanile interpretato da Ornella Muti, Ben Gazzara, Jean-Claude Brialy, Mimsy Farmer, Andréa Ferréol, William Berger. All’epoca fu stampato in Italia un 33 giri (New Polaris ?– POL/BP 733) e ristampato in Svizzera dalla Milan (A CH 002). Purtroppo il master dell’album si è perduto, ma è stato possibile ricostruirlo utilizzando i master stereo di prima generazione della sessione originale. A parte alcune tracce identiche a quelle della sessione, abbiamo dovuto anche editare la maggior parte dei brani che il M°Ortolani aveva assemblato montando insieme piccoli takes. Cosi le dieci tracce del vinile (durata circa 30:28) sono state recuperate in ottimo suono stereo e nei master della sessione abbiamo scoperto dodici tracce inedite che portano il nostro CD ad una durata totale di  51:50. Questa colonna sonora ancora una volta mette in risalto tutto il lato romantico di Riz Ortolani, sicuramente uno dei più grandi melodisti al mondo. Un altro CD che si unisce alla sempre crescente discografia del M°Riz Ortolani.

"LA RAGAZZA DI TRIESTE" (aka "The Girl from Trieste" - "La fille de Trieste") is a drama film directed in 1982 by Pasquale Festa Campanile starring Ornella Muti, Ben Gazzara, Jean-Claude Brialy, Mimsy Farmer, Andréa Ferréol, William Berger. At the time, a 33 rpm (New Polaris - POL / BP 733) was printed in Italy and reissued in Switzerland by Milan (A CH 002). Unfortunately, the album master was lost, but it was possible to reassemble it using the first generation stereo masters of the original session. Apart from some tracks that were identical to those from the session, we also had to edit most of the pieces that M ° Ortolani had assembled by editing small takes together. Ultimately, the ten tracks from the vinyl (duration about 30:28) were rescued in excellent stereo sound, and in the session masters, we discovered twelve unreleased tracks that bring our CD to a total duration of 51:50. This soundtrack once again highlights the whole romantic side of Riz Ortolani, certainly one of the greatest melodists in the world. Alas, another CD joins the ever-growing discography of M ° Riz Ortolani.
