PREDATOR: BADLANDS

Mutant, in collaboration with Hollywood Records and 20th Century Studios, is proud to present the premiere physical media release of the original soundtrack to Predator: Badlands, featuring an original score by Sarah Schachner and Benjamin Wallfisch.

Predator: Badlands continues Dan Trachtenberg's revival of the beloved sci-fi series, that started with Prey, and continued last year with the animated anthology Predator: Killer of Killers. Badlands tells the story of a young Yautja warrior named Dek as he seeks the approval of his family by hunting on the most dangerous planet in the universe. Along the way he collides with a synthetic named Thia with family issues of her own. Together with a few other inhabitants on the planet, they find salvation in several amazing glorious battles.

"Dan Trachtenberg's Predator revival should be the blueprint for how to tell new stories in old universes," says Mo Shafeek, co-founder of Mutant. "Working with composers Sarah Schachner and Benjamin Wallfisch he finds a duo, not unlike Dek and Thia, who come together to make one of the most compelling scores to an action / adventure film in some time.”

This essential release for fans of the Predator franchise features original artwork by Greg Ruth.
