THE SILENT WITNESS

Once again we are proud to present another beautiful and rather obscure gem for the THE KRONOS GOLD COLLECTION.

THE SILENT WITNESS is a 1962 crime-thriller, written by Frank Jessy and directed by Ken Kennedy. It starred Tristram Coffin, Marjorie Reynolds, George Kennedy and young Billy Shanley. It tells the story of Danny, the teenage son of a police officer killed in the line of duty who ends up being the accidental witness to the murder and as a result becomes the target of the killer.

The music for THE SILENT WITNESS was composed an conducted by GENE KAUER & DOUGLAS M. LACKEY, a duo that scored a long string of films together, most notably Agent for H.A.R.M. (1966) Brother of the Wind (1973) Across The Great Divide (1977) and Adventure Family (1977). It is also the fourts release con Kronos Records by this duo, following The Proud And the Damned (1972), Monstrosity (1963) , Cape Canaveral Monsters (1960) and From Hell To Borneo (1964)

It is a 60s style action score with lots of jazz tinged moments that will go down very well wit the afficionadoes of the genre!

A very exciting release that was prevously never released in any format, making this yet another World Premier release by Kronos Records!
