Per il 30° anniversario “Braveheart”, il blockbuster di Mel Gibson vincitore di 5 Premi Oscar, Decca pubblica le edizioni speciali della splendida colonna sonora di James Horner che rappresenta una dei più grandi successi dell’etichetta inglese: - Doppio LP in due versioni, standard e vinile colorato limited edition, con libretto di 16 pagine contenente un nuovo articolo “The Making of an Epic” di Maurizio Caschetto.

Le musiche originali realizzate da James Horner ci trasportano indietro nel tempo fino al XIII secolo, attingendo fortemente alle influenze celtiche/scozzesi per creare una colonna sonora malinconica ed emozionante, con cornamuse, flauti atmosferici, tamburi bodhran innestati nella monumentale partitura eseguita dalla London Symphony Orchestra diretta dal compositore stesso.
