Cinevox Record è lieta di stampare su CD le bellissime musiche di Riz Ortolani per il film d'azione "SAHARA CROSS".

Nel 1977 Cinevox Record pubblicò un 45 giri (MDF 113) con le tracce “Sahara Cross” e “Safari session” scelte dall’autore. Bisogna aspettare il 2003 per l’uscita su CD in Giappone (Volcano CPC8-1216). Adesso la colonna sonora di Riz Ortolani appare per la prima volta su CD Italiano. Il M° Ortolani ha composto una OST orchestrale dominata da scatenati passaggi funky (Tr.1,3,10,22) alternati a brani di tipo Lounge (Tr.2,5,8) e a passassi per orchestra di suspence e mistero che creano l’atmosfera perfetta per descrivere lo sconfinato silenzio del deserto (Tr.7, 11, 12, 14,16), ma non manca un momento romantico con un delicato tema d’amore (Tr.18). Per questo CD della durata di 45:22 sono stati utilizzati i master stereo della sessione originale. Un omaggio doveroso all’Arte Musicale del grandissimo Riz Ortolani.

In 1977, Cinevox Record released a 45 rpm single (MDF 113) with the tracks ‘Sahara Cross’ and ‘Safari session’ chosen by the composer. It was not until 2003 that the soundtrack was released on CD in Japan (Volcano CPC8-1216). Now, Riz Ortolani's soundtrack appears for the first time on Italian CD. Maestro Ortolani composed an orchestral OST dominated by wild funky passages (Tr.1,3,10,22) alternating with lounge-style pieces (Tr.2,5,8) and suspenseful and mysterious orchestral passages that create the perfect atmosphere to describe the boundless silence of the desert (Tr.7, 11, 12, 14, 16), but there is also a romantic moment with a delicate love theme (Tr. 18). The stereo masters from the original session were used for this 45:22 CD. A fitting tribute to the musical artistry of the great Riz Ortolani.
